This Plan has formulated as the individual plan based on Initiative 10 Multicultural Coexistence Promotion of the First Half Basic Plan (from April, Heisei 27 (2015) to March, Heisei 32 (2020)) of the Tachikawa 4th _{Long-term Comprehensive Plan. The goals of the}

basic project is "Improvement of multicultural coexistence awareness and understanding of diverse cultures" and "Foreigners livable city development" in order to implement the initiative of Multicultural Coexistence Promotion.

Tachikawa City determined the vision (aimed future image) of the 3rd _{Multicultural}

Coexistence Promotion Plan as follows. Project Translation of administrative brochures, etc.

Contents of Project

Translation of the administrative correspondance and application forms such as child-rearing, health,waste related documents to be prepared to the customer desks of the city hall into multiple languages based on the request from the department in charge.
